Start With A Landing PageÂ
Beat the overwhelm by starting with one page that is ready for you to share with your audience. Start with your first landing page and create your first point of contact introducing your coaching services. There are lots of templates to choose from and customise. My idea behind sharing this one with you was that you would have a reference point for things you need to consider and you would have a chance to practice with some key Kajabi features. So make another copy of this page, set them both to draft and with two windows open you can begin your test run. Please know I am not a designer, I am better with the coaching copy side of things. I have shared links to the Kajabi design teams I use.Â

When you look at your list of landing pages you will see the page name and then a Details label. This is an important part of creating your page with search engines in mind. You need to use a clear title and complete the page description. Think about why you want to direct your ideal client to your page and use your description as an invitation. Make it relevant and keep it human, this is not about a chain of key words. That said what key concepts and themes or ideas are you presenting on your page? Have you used a description that mirrors your overview? You also need to add an image and it requires a 1280 x 720 size. Use the Canva template I shared above and make it your own.Â
Introduce Yourself & Spotlight Your Offer(s)
Now comes the fun part. Tell your audience about your coaching business and again introduce the personal touch by sharing information about yourself. Think of this introduction as your chance to present your audience with compelling reasons why they will enjoy working with you. What will they learn, discover, explore, focus on, determine, become?Â
Your Landing Page can include different types of media and the blocks let you share your offers your way. I like to use a Carousel for testimonials for example and the storefront tab is ideal for spotlighting a range of offers. You are reading text in a text box in a 2 column style but you might decide that you want to layer your text box across the whole page and interrupt the text blocks with images or a Call To Action Button. You can use the style guide in the settings tab to pick your fonts and colours that represent your brand identity.Â
Think about your first offer. Start with setting up the ways you are going to offer coaching. The Kajabi Coaching Product facilitates an online classroom for individuals and groups. It’s a game changer for delivering your coaching services.Â
To sell an offer you are going to need to set up your payment gateway, I use Stripe as it’s easy to work with in Kajabi. You need to create your offer and checkout page, some simple automation to grant the offer and deliver confirmation of purchase to your customer.


Create Your First Course
Kajabi has a course product that you can truly make your own. Do you want it to be a self paced evergreen course with videos and workbooks for your students to enjoy and complete in their own time? Do you want to launch cohort based courses  and coach live sessions on your chosen dates?Â
Before you dive in to the fun, creative part of producing your course materials, take some time to design your session plans and work out your course objectives.Â

Set Up Your Coaching SuiteÂ
What are your favourite types of session to coach in person?How could you recreate elements of the performance environment in your digital space?Â
Do you coaching outdoors? If your participants are horse riders for example, you might want to set up live coaching sessions using Pivo Meet or the Pixem system.Â
Do you offer video analysis of sports performances? Maybe you coach classes that lend themselves to attending virtually. Kajabi will allow you to create your virtual coaching hub. For example I run Dressage School Online.Â

A funnel is a process or a flow that your audience progresses along until they either get bored with your content suggestion or they reach the end and make a decision whether or not to take the action you have been pushing or pulling them towards.Â
A Sales Funnel has the ideal outcome that your audience consumes the content and makes a purchase decision.Â
When we talk about a Sales Conversion, this is where a person ( a lead ) is attracted to your offer and purchases it. This is a conversion from interest to purchase.

Search Engine Optimisation is making sure you are visible to the bots that trawl the internet to catalogue the pages and index them.
It is a highly specialised field and hiring an expert might exceed your budget and fail to offer you a return on your investment. Don't despair. Create a profile on Google Maps then you have a point of contact with Google, You can ask your clients to leave reviews. You can share useful articles and links to your landing pages and offers. This is a great way to generate traffic to your website and improve SEO.Â
Enjoy Creating Content.
Rather like answering the phone with a smile, choose a content creation medium you enjoy. If you hate being on camera, look at creating videos of your screen with a voice over. Show the audience your work environment or design a presentation.Â
Would you rather record audio than video, perhaps a podcast or webinar would be fun for you to produce.Â

Your Emails are a Powerful Point of Contact.Â
An email can go beyond a transaction and feel more like a conversation or a must read bulletin.Â
Be creative and find ways to use email as part of your coaching sessions. You might use them as check ins and encourage your reader to reply.Â
Perhaps use them to signpost new and interesting content. Create a sense of continuity and give your audience an email they look forward to reading.Â

Set your expectations for social media and avoid burnout by remembering that they were designed to be sociable places first. They are ways to include posting in your sales funnel but be authentic and approachable first so that your audience feels a sense of connection. From a marketing perspective your ideal outcome is that your audience leaves the social media platform and engages with you through your website and emails,Â

When you act as an affiliate you are often able to share discounts and exclusive offers with your audience as well as earning commission on the sale. It’s very important that you check out the terms and conditions for promoting each company AND remember you must state clearly when you are sharing an affiliate promotion. Have a clearly visible statement on your website as well as labelling promotions. On social media you must label such posts as #ad and #affiliatepost or use #gifted if the product was sent to you to try.Â
